With more than 1,500 entries, the BZgA (Federal Centre for Health Education) counselling centre database includes almost all German pregnancy counselling centres. This allows you to search specifically for services in your area.
A prerequisite for inclusion in the database is the state recognition of the counselling centre for pregnancy conflict counselling according to §§ 5 and 6 of the Pregnancy Conflict Act (SchKG) or the state funding according to § 2 of the SchKG.
Note
The counselling certificate required for a legal abortion is only issued by state-recognised counselling centres that provide counselling in accordance with §§ 5 and 6 of the SchKG.
The information on the services offered by the counselling centres is maintained by them themselves. The Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) is not responsible for the accuracy of the details. However, the contact details of the counselling centres are checked at regular intervals. The last check took place in 2023/2024.
